Long House Fish Company
All sales are final for perishable goods
Because we produce in small batches and ship perishable seafood, orders are final sale. (Many subscription programs operate no-refund policies for shipped goods.)
We'll make it right if there's a problem
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or warm, email info@longhousefishco.com within 24 hours of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the outer box, inner packaging, and product
Once verified, we'll arrange a replacement or credit at our discretion. (Food-safety guidance: perishable food that's warm should not be consumed.)
Limits & exclusions
We're not responsible for issues caused by:
- Incorrect/undeliverable addresses provided at checkout
- Packages left outside after a delivered scan
- Missed delivery attempts or refusal
- Carrier delays beyond our control (we'll help advocate with the carrier)
(Comparable policies place responsibility on accurate addresses and timely receipt.)
Quality assurance
We follow seafood safety best practices and cold-chain standards in packing and shipping. (See FDA seafood hazards & controls and carrier perishable guidelines.)
